I have been working with Base on a consultancy basis whilst contributing to other projects and agencies like YouBloom, Agency.com and BlueCube Interactive. In all of these roles I have mainly focused on UI and Social Networking, but also working with eCommerce and SME clients UX and web design.

Muzu TV / Our Digital Universe 2007 - 2009

DESIGN MANAGER | R&D | ART DIRECTOR | UI

My role in Muzu was an incredibly varied one that spanned 2 years of R&D, Content Acquisition & Creation, Advertising, managing Creative Staff, Training staff, Managing of external contractors such as Preloaded Design (London), and Front End Design (Dublin) and substantial client facing activity, with both music artists and record labels (who needed regular correspondence and reaction to content releases). Working closely with all of the major record labels (Sony BMG, EMI Music, Warner and Universal) as well as top brands like Heineken, Xbox Ray Ban, Converse and Ford, my work in Muzu was at the forefront of internet marketing with high caliber brands and artists, combining new and visually impacting tools such as in-stream rich media and interactively authored video. Developing and producing these advertising models alongside working on the site’s core technologies, ar­eas of development included lessoning with large 3rd party partners such as Facebook, Playstation, Xbox, iPhone, Nokia, Eircom and Nintendo Wii.

Webtrade are one of Ireland's top web design, development and online marketing companies. Founded in 1998, they provide eBusiness, eGovernment and eTravel solutions to over 400 of Ireland’s leading companies and Gov­ernment agencies. My role in the team was that of front end design and coding. Working with the other creative staff lead programmers and project mangers producing sites for manly government body’s and high profile companies as well as contributing to the on going R&D into the companies award winning CMS and site maintenance software’s.

Froton Design 2005 - 2006

Froton Design is a small design firm in the south of France. This group mainly worked with the tourism and serv­ices sectors. They also had strong links with many night clubs and events in the region. In this particular role, I created large amounts of artwork inspired by the musicians and venues we partnered with a lot of these works can be seen in the graphics section of my web site.

Kapooki Games 2003 - 2005

Kapooki Games was one of Ireland’s only indigenous games companies. My duties as Creative Designer involved manag­ing designs and illustrations in 2D, helping to establish a brand and identity, and designing a variety of content.

Evolving Media 4D Net 2002 - 2003

A group of designers that formed EMOTN back in 2002 to try and open up the design community around Dublin to new media for corporate companies and bring art and excitement back into equation. EMOTN disbanded in 2004 after many successful designs and projects.

N.S.P. Technologies & Synrgy Creative 1998 - 2002

N.S.P. & Synrgy Creative shared a studio, and worked closely together, often sharing resources and staff as and when required. Whilst I was employed by N.S.P, I often worked on projects for Synrgy which gave me great expo­sure to a variety of clients and projects. I was head hunted for this role and was promoted to lead designer after eight months. I headed up the web design and marketing section of the business, managing two designers and several freelance programmers. The team turned out over 300 mid to large size sites in just two years.
